SCS Challenge CC191

Supplies: Stamps There She Goes-Branching Out
CS-SU-Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Riding Hood Red
Ribbon-American Crafts
Misc-red bling, pink dew drops, CBEF & photo corner die

Ok I said I would post again today to show you what I did with the SCS challenge CC191. This is the color challenge and the colors that were called for were SU's Pretty in Pink, Old Olive and Riding Hood Red.

I wanted to make a holiday card and as I was looking at the Branching Out stamp set from There She Goes I thought the tree branch stamp turned upside down looked like a Christmas Tree stand. Soooooooo I gave it a try and I also used the regular leaf stamp because I thought the top leaves looked like a star. As I built the Christams tree I did not ink the last two leaves so I could stack the stamp three times and have it look like a Christmas tree. I love when you can take a stamp meant for one thing and use it in a completly use it in a different way.

I hope you like this and it will inspire you to take a look at some of your sets that have been lying around and give them a spin in a different directions.

Peace Out
